Leadership
Brown Polo is a student run organization at Brown University. Our Executive Board handles the administrative tasks of the club along with our faculty advisor. The team captains are in charge on the field and schedule matches. Our coach is from Newport Polo and runs our lessons and games.

Bryn came all the way from California where she rode hunter/jumper for 14 years. She hitchhiked her way to Brown forrest gump style, and is now a sophomore concentrating in Biology. She started playing polo in college and soon learned that her strongest skill in polo was bumping where she could release her inner rage. Her favorite horse, Ratón aka Ratty, is named after the world-renowned eatery at Brown. Catch her saying “It’s Wednesday my dudes” at varsity lessons!

As the coach for Brown Polo Team, Minnie teaches lessons, runs home games, and guides the team to success. Minnie coaches both the varsity team and the club level lessons starting at the beginner level. She is a USPA Certified Polo Umpire and selected by the USPA for their advanced Instructor’s Certification Program. Minnie is Newport Polo’s Equine Manager and does everything from train horses to teach lessons. She played USPA Interscholastic division winning multiple awards and progressed to grass polo playing with Newport Polo Club. Minnie is a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor's Degree in English and Fine Arts Minor in the Class of 2017.
